Born in 1944 in Alleppey, Kerala, Dr. B. Govindan carries forward the vision of his father, Sri. Bhima Bhattar, founder of Bhima Jewellery. A Commerce graduate and Doctorate holder in Gemology, he has dedicated his life to strengthening Bhima's heritage while driving innovation in India's jewellery industry.
